Additionally, the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) trains neighbors to know how to respond in an emergency. CERT provides you with the basic disaster skills you need to act immediately. The FREE spring course is six (6) in-person classes from March 4 – 23.

Both types of volunteers are important and help our neighborhood better respond to large emergencies (think fires or earthquakes) that would otherwise overwhelm our city employees.
